“He sent forth His word and healed them” (Psalm 107:20).
Think about the healing process of a broken bone- the building up of calcium is said to make the bone even stronger than it was prior to the break. That’s what we’re talking about as we look ahead to Restore 2015!
Stronger than the day you said, “I do.”
“How can this possibly apply to me? Our marriage hasn’t suffered a crisis requiring restoration,” some interested participants may say. However, many marriage experts maintain that the problem causing stress in the couple’s relationship is really not the problem. Rather, the marriage has endured a series of small fractures leading to a breakdown that now seems irreparable in the face of a major blow. The seemingly “insignificant things” should have been attended to, so that the needed cohesiveness and strength would have been present for the current crisis.
On October 2-3, the MARRIAGE BUILDING EVENT taking place in Hampton, Va aims to help attendees identify sources of small fractures in the relationship. We will provide vision of God’s restoration- a word He sends forth and and uses to heal brokenness. We aim to give practical resources for your marriage to experience a state of “stronger than the day you said, ‘I do.'”
